Fielding/Hitting/Pitching Approaches
As a staff we know that the fundamentals of the game are not the hard part in teaching a young athlete.  It’s being able recognize what each individual lacks at that moment and then translate the adjustments that have to be made to help progress the youngster as a baseball player.  Remember, we are not reinventing the baseball swing or how to throw a baseball. Every child is blessed in their own way and will hit, throw, and catch to the best of their own ability.  It’s all about learning the basic fundamentals, establishing confidence, and believing in their own skills to be successful. So as the child improves, the level of instruction will grow with him. The best way is the simplest way.
